YNTO Scope of Services
Youth Navigating Toward Opportunity currently provides outreach services, year round, to approximately 60 children residing in Pamlico County, North Carolina. Ages of youth within the program range from 5 to 17 years of age. Program activities afforded to youth include: mentoring, academic support, art, sports, sports coaching, and field trips.
Monetary Donations
Your donations help support YNTO’s efforts to help the youth in Pamlico County. It provides funds in order to supply vital aid and resources, such as school supplies, tutoring, public education, etc., in an attempt to inspire and provide a safe, productive outlet for the youth within our community.

Current Funding Initiatives
Transport Van
Initiative- Obtain a reliable transport van.
Need- Transport youth to field trips, utilize for before and after school drop-off and pick-up.
Funding to Date- A $12,500 grant, through the Bate Foundation of New Bern, NC has been awarded. Must match the awarded dollar amount by June 2024 to receive the grant.
Match Money Raised– $3,500 Match Money Remaining– $9,000
Donate Snacks and Goods
Prepackaged food items, drinks, frozen foods, and fruit/vegetables (prepackaged or uncut) are greatly appreciated. Also, school supplies and educational materials are appreciated anytime. Contact Taquan Jones, YNTO president for more information on dropping off donations.
